Even in hard-to-reach areas where visibility is limited and precision is critical, the Wolf TruBlue’s fibers allow you the flexibility to use the laser as a precise excisional, coagulative, and vaporization tool.

The Wolf TruBlue For Airway Surgery:
Vessel control. Clean margins. Confidence in the airway.

The Wolf TruBlue enables safe and efficacious airway interventions with visibility and control - ideal for treating conditions affecting the glottis, subglottis, and trachea.

Close and Clean Margins

The Wolf TruBlue laser can be utilized to vaporize Tis, T1, and T2 glottic cancer tumors with close margins while preserving outcomes (Rosow, 2024)

Minimal Collateral Damage

For vascular lesions, the Wolf TruBlue’s touch or very-near-touch technique allows effective coagulation of the vessel with virtually no thermal effect on the adjacent epithelium (Sataloff RT, 2021).

Airway Fire Safety

A recent study found that if simple precautions are followed, then there is no need to decrease FiO2 below 30% (as required with other lasers) when using the Wolf TruBlue (Roitman, 2025)

Visibility with a Drier Field

The 445 nm wavelength’s favorable absorption properties allow surgeons to gain visibility and control bleeding (González-Herranz, 2023)

Key Procedures in Airway Surgery

➤ Subglottic and tracheal stenosis ➤ Airway granulomas ➤ Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP)

The Wolf TruBlue For Voice Surgery: Preserve intricate anatomy. Minimize scarring. Optimize outcomes.

The Wolf TruBlue delivers selective energy optimized for the lamina propria and superficial layers of the vocal folds, enabling voice preservation and functional recovery even in the most delicate voice procedures.

Superior Tissue Selectivity

The Wolf TruBlue’s 445 nm wavelength offers high hemoglobin absorption with minimal thermal spread, reducing risk of scarring and preserving the vibratory layer (Balouch 2023)

Reduced Scarring

A recent study showed a significant increase in fibrosis in the vocal folds after treatment with a KTP laser, and no evidence of this in the Wolf TruBlue laser cases. (Lin, 2020)

Optimized for Office-Based Procedures

The Wolf TruBlue allows safe, unsedated treatment of benign lesions in-office, increasing procedural efficiency while reducing patient downtime, procedural costs, and OR dependency (Hamdan 2023, Filauro 2023)

Key Procedures in Voice

➤ Vocal fold cysts, nodules, and polyps ➤ Reinke’s Edema ➤ Varices and ectasias ➤ Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) ➤ Early glottic carcinoma

oFFICE-BASED LARYNGOLOGY

Office-based precision. Practice-building potential.

As office-based procedures grow, the Wolf TruBlue is priced for accessibility in the clinic or the operating room. The Wolf TruBlue enables the treatment of laryngeal pathology in the office, reducing delays and allowing for complex cases to be addressed in a straightforward manner(González-Herranz, 2023). Patients benefit from same-day care without anesthesia, while practices gain the flexibility to keep more procedures in-house.

Medical Consultation
In our practice, this (The Wolf TruBlue) has meant a great change, shortening times and simplifying the patient’s stay in the hospital, especially in recurrent procedures such as laryngeal papillomatosis. In our series, we have expanded the indications, not limiting ourselves to lesions of the free edge of the vocal folds, having treated, in consultation, patients with more complex pathologies such as angiomatous lesions, scars or even subglottic stenosis.

oFFICE-BASED LARYNGOLOGY
